Reviews & references
No reviews yet. Here’s what we can show you instead.
Level Best Painting opened in 2026. We haven’t asked a customer for a review — we’d rather earn a few first. Until they’re here, judge us the way we’d want to be judged: by how we quote, how we prep, and how we finish — on paper, before you pay.
How to judge a painter with no reviews (and how we score)
An itemized written estimate.
Prep steps, coat count, paint by brand and line, schedule, price. Ours arrives that way on every job — a one-line quote is where quality goes to die.
A named person on your job.
Tim, the owner, quotes your job, runs the crew on site every day, and does the final walkthrough with you. You'll have his direct number for the whole project — no subcontractor you've never met.
A written warranty with a number on it.
Ours is 2 years, printed on the estimate, and it covers peeling, blistering, and flaking from our application.
The paperwork Illinois requires — not a license.
Illinois has no painter license, so don't let the word sway you. Any job over $1,000 legally comes with a written contract and the Attorney General's "Home Repair: Know Your Consumer Rights" brochure. You'll get both from us before work starts.
Where our reviews will live
On Google, where you can verify them. After the final walkthrough we’ll ask every customer for an honest review — no discounts for reviews, no cherry-picking. When they arrive, we’ll quote them here with permission and link to the originals.
Be one of our first customers
That means the owner on your project, Tim’s number in your phone, and a walkthrough with him before the last drop cloth comes up. All we ask afterward is that you tell us — and everyone else — the truth about how we did.
